1907年10月4日，邵老爷子在上海出生，明天是他100周岁寿辰 今年港姐选举，邵老爷子出现在现场时，全场起立鼓掌 他是中国影业百年发展的见证，也是香港TVB这40年来发展的真正操控者 1932年10月4日，邵老爷子迎娶年长其5岁的发妻----黄美珍小姐 也许由于近水楼台之关系，邵老爷子身边总是美女如云 但他和发妻却能相濡以沫55年，直至1987年黄美珍小姐在洛杉矶病逝 1925年，邵老爷子就和兄弟们成为中国电影最早的先驱者，他们于上海成立天一影业 其后在香江一手捧红李翰祥、林黛、汪明荃、黄霑、罗文、王羽、罗烈、郑佩佩等明星 如今嘉禾影业的创办者----邹文怀先生也曾经是邵老爷子的得力干将 1958年，邹文怀加入邵氏影业，在这之前，邵老爷子已经认识了方逸华小姐 方逸华在1952年以歌手身份到新加坡表演，在夜总会于比自己年长27岁的邵逸夫结识 邵老爷子对当年只有17岁的方逸华甚为欣赏，尤其喜爱对方所唱的《花月佳期》 二人一曲结下情缘，后成为知己，以亦师亦友的方式相处 邹文怀先生在加入邵氏之前已经在香港的报业拼搏多年，深谙营销宣传之道 邵逸夫见其也是如获至宝，对邹文怀言听计从 但到1969年，随着邵老爷子的红颜知己方逸华小姐加盟邵氏，邹文怀的位置有了隐患 1970年，邹文怀最终离开邵氏，创办嘉禾影业 而嘉禾影业的诞生，也间接促发功夫之王----李小龙传奇的书写 当年在美国发展的李小龙期待回港，他属意于当时香港最强盛的邵氏公司 但邵老爷子当时已坐拥几十亿身价，不可能像过去一样随便地和哪个明星洽谈 邵老爷子表示一切等李小龙回到香港再谈，而且也没有应承李小龙开出的片酬价码 这让李小龙火冒三丈，邹文怀抓住这个千载难逢的时机，主动派人到美国邀请李小龙 就这样，李小龙在嘉禾影业散发出耀眼的光芒 不过山不转水转，邵老爷子和邹文怀都是绝顶聪明之人，尔虞我诈的商场竞争无趣的很 两人在80年代中期开始合作拍摄很多脍炙人口的电影，如《A计划》、《七小福》等等 而方逸华小姐和邵老爷子也在相识45年之后，1997年在美国赌城拉斯维加斯注册结婚 这时已距邵老爷子的发妻黄美珍小姐去世10年之久 花月佳期 演唱：方逸华 作曲：阿根廷音乐 作词：陈蝶衣 2004年 《百代百年一百首（第四集）》合辑 《花月佳期》为一首外来改编歌曲，作词者是上世纪三、四十年代在上海滩红极一时的著名词作人----陈蝶衣先生，代表作有《香格里拉》、《凤凰于飞》、《南屏晚钟》、《情人的眼泪》、《春风它吻上了我的脸》、《我的眼里只有你没有他》、《我有一段情》、《人面桃花》等，他也是当年风靡一时的杂志《万象》之第一任主编，其子陈燮阳是目前中国著名的指挥家。陈蝶衣先生今年也有100高龄，在香港居住。梅艳芳小姐生前同样非常喜欢《花月佳期》这首歌曲，2003年11月，梅艳芳小姐在其最后的经典金曲演唱会上，向所有人宣布自己这一生嫁给了音乐和歌迷，并现场演唱此曲，当时的指挥正是陈燮阳先生。 You by my side, that's how I see us.
