As everybody knows, it is the story of Humbert Humbert, a full-grown, adult male--not an old man--who seduces a compliant twelve-year old girl, and then goes on to have a year or so long "affair" with her. I put the term "affair" in quotation marks, because it probably isn't appropriate to describe a sexual relationship between a full grown male and a female child in such terms. Is it safe to say that most rational human beings disapprove of such relationships? It is certainly safe to say that Nabakov--and his narrator--know that such relationships are wrong. This is important. The tale is not only told in the context of a moral universe, it is also told by a character who is in acceptance of a moral universe. Oh, he makes a comment here and there about some medieval king marrying his twelve year old cousin, but clearly, his heart isn't in it. He knows that he is a monster, a "brute."

二十五年前正是因为父母的结合，于是有了我，有了我以后二十余年的匆匆生命，由一个幼小的成长为自立的个体。不禁感叹和唏嘘岁月的流逝。
就像鸟儿哺育自己的幼儿一般，他们希望、期盼和祈祷，只等幼鸟的翅膀足够硬朗，羽翼更加丰满，直到幼一天小鸟载着父母的祝福，飞得越来越远。他们渐渐明白为了生存他们的孩子必须到更远的地方找寻生存的食粮。 那长大的鸟儿就是我。 今年五一是父母的银婚纪念日，不知道他们可否记得。一对人到中年的夫妻绘记得自己的银婚纪念日吗？就像二十五年前的那日一样，是生命中唯一的一日，然而我相信如果我不去策划这场本应改隆重的“盛宴”，他们是无论如何不会多么的浪漫的。 记忆中他们的日子总是那样的平淡、波澜不惊，最艰难的日子熬出头就有了可以看得见的希望。到我这个年纪总会不得不试着思考自己的活法了，婚姻和职业是一个人一辈子足够重要的两件事情，而找个好伴侣，对于一个女孩来说不管怎么样都是优先于职业的事情。曾经那么幼稚的认为只要付出感情就会得到自己所希望得到的，一路走来才发现那只是青涩记忆中的一厢情愿罢了，有...... 2006-4-23

一直以来，我的阅读速度都是惊人的，只要我有充裕的时间。周六我一口气看了两部书，《洛丽塔》和余华的《活着》，风马牛不相及的两部书。
回头看看这一周收获是巨大的，覃彪喜的《读大学，究竟读什么——一名25岁的董事长给大学生的18条忠告》、姚雪雪的《夏都绘影》、漓江出版社的《2005年度中国报告文学》总共五本书，有的轻松、有的沉重、有的华丽、有的朴实……总能将他们一一对应起来。这种能力是否得益于以往专业的“路径依赖”，我想是有些的吧。我也喜欢像个编目员那样，把自己所看过的书，一一规类，不是因为别的，而是自己对书籍太过于饕餮，不及时记下来往往忘记也不一定呢。 《洛丽塔》单从文字上面，真的是无可挑剔的，光中文翻译版本就让我看的如痴如醉，当然仅仅是文字。我不想对自己确实不擅长看情色类辩解，虽然我承认《洛丽塔》是一部不可多得的好的文学作品，宁可看英文原版的小说，不是因为别的，而是那样的话，自己就能沉下心来认认真真读读这部小说。 故事的情节倒是不复杂，一个鳏夫为了搭上令他痴迷的性感少女，而取了少女的母亲，等少女母亲发现这起不论之恋的时...... 2006-4-17

 好久没有看动漫了，今天同事给我一部《浪客剑心——追忆篇》。一下子就被唯美的画面和新鲜的动画表达风格给吸引了。 特别是第一集结束，夜色中的风车，青杏色的搭配是我最喜欢的颜色搭配，那个风车和夜幕就是这样的对比色。渐渐背景亮了起来，拂晓的风格外的大了，但是更巨大的风还在后头，风车越转越快，让我都捏了一把汗，白天（我想象征的是明治维新的历史大背景，这也证实了我之前的假设“好的作品一定是融于一定的历史背景之中”），可是黄昏就这样不可阻挡了来了，风车停了下来，巴也许就是剑心儿时的风车，带着白梅香的心爱的风车。 巴是个女人，女人都是复杂的，作者这一点把握的很好，对于这样的角色我有着特殊的喜爱，巴才是真真正正的女人，如花一样的女人，到逝去的那一刻都让人闻到了清香的淡淡白梅花香味，让剑心一直怀念！ ...... 2006-4-14

无意中和刚来的同事说起毕业设计还要翻译15000字的英语论文,进而说到四六级,说到专业八级,理所当然就说到我曾经当过"枪手"的事迹来.
记得第一次有人请我当枪手是在大学时代,一个朋友专门跑到我们学校,要我替他读专科的女朋友考三级英语测试.当时周末在学校读第二学位,三级对我来说自然不算什么,何况当时还在学英语,那对我来说,完全是手到擒来的事情.一方面,当时对于在校学生,替考这会子事情可大可小,另一方面,我周末还有课程要去上,就没有答应朋友.当时记得他悻悻的走了,还因为这事情好长一段时间没有带女朋友到我那里去玩. 上班以后,就仅仅当替别人考试当作好玩的游戏,平时在单位也没有什么事情.那次说是新题型,本来想这下可亏了,不想到了时间还是原来的模式,太没有新鲜感了.于是看了几套真题,就去考试了,去年因为身体不好,好久没有一动不动坐着超过2个小时的,那次考试又在城里,早早赶到考点,又坐了两个小时,那一上午可是把我折腾坏了.交了卷子,吐了一口气,一溜烟跑到街上逛去了. 其实,作枪手是一件挺寻常的事情,又挺刺激,特别是你看到你给别人...... 2006-4-14

【摘要】：本文用《针对计信、国贸03、04级本专科生就业心理的调查》问卷的统计结果为依据，简要分析了湖北经济学院法商学院计信、国贸03、04级本专科生就业心理的总体情况，提出我二级学院今后毕业生就业指导工作的几点建议，以期给学院未来就业策划提供借鉴和帮助。
2006年3月19日至3月22日，笔者针对计信、国贸03、04级本专科生就业心理组织了一次调查。调查采取抽样问卷形式，其中包括求职心理、求职准备，以及求职途径等有关内容。调查对象为湖北经济学院法商学院计信、国贸03、04级本专科学生。 本次调查主要有三个目的：一是充分了解计信、国贸03、04级本专科生的就业心理现状；二是为了较好地了解计信、国贸03、04级本专科生的就业趋向；三是给计信、国贸05级学生将来的就业策划提供借鉴。 本次抽样调查发放问卷450份，收回有效问卷443份。经过对问卷的整理分析与统计，对本次调查情况分析如下： 一、总体情况： 49.2％的被调查者选择直接就业，32.3％的被调查者选择继续深造，3.8％选择出国，4.5％选择其他...... 2006-4-10

Some years ago, we have no idea of Mercy Killing. But now, with the spread of various media, the heated words appear in our daily life and, no doubt that, have become an inevitable topic. Mercy killing is related to a human's life and to the concept of death, so it has been regarded as a very difficult problem for a long time. As far as in the following aspects – patients and their families, I think, mercy killing is right.
First of all, from the angle of individual, patients have rights of deciding whether they should live or die, and mercy killing is also one of the ways to carry out their decision.
