真是隔了相当长~~~~~~~~的时间啊，现在才来更新，实在非常非常……不知道说啥了，觉得自己真是太懒了。其实这个日记能坚持下去会收益不少。

CHANDLER: I'm tellin' you, she leaned back, I could see her brain. 【解析】 这里的They，应该是指鼻孔。当Joan打喷嚏的时候，蝙蝠都可以从鼻孔里飞出来。哈哈，这比喻够狠！ 这还不算，Chan随即说，当Joan往后仰的时候，他能看见她的大脑。估计大家都知道brain和head的区别了吧？反正中文里翻译为脑袋还是头...... 2007-3-4

我重出江湖了！！快鼓掌~~~哈哈哈
首先要告诉大家的是这个地址已经改为friends6.tianyablog.com，从今年8月份开始，原来的地址friends6.tianya.cn要停用了。希望大家一如既往地光顾这个blog，还有转载一定要注明是jeansblue哦，呵呵。 今天看到名为luoluo的女生（我猜是女生）转载我这个播客，很惊讶很高兴，呵呵。看来辛苦还是没白费啊。 不过呢，最近失恋ing，加之刚开学有些事情要忙，所以呢，迟些再推出friends日记。 其实时间还是能够挤出来的，但就是懒，希望大家多督促我一下。嘻嘻...... 2006-10-4

duh：表示赞同，和yes一样 squirt：喷出 Monica: Just out. Had some lunch, just me, little quality time with me. Thanks for your jacket. quality time：is the time someone spends with the people they love and respect, especially with those towards whom they feel some sort of obligation(义务;责任). quality time是美国常用语。有些美国人喜欢把工作日安排得满满的。越来越多的女性不再满足于照顾家庭，纷纷走出家门去工作。于是，他们与家人和亲朋好友很难有时间相聚。美国人提倡quality time，意思是说与家人和朋友共处相当重要，不在于短，而在于质量。我们可以把它翻译为“黄金时间”或“宝贵时间”。 【Scene】[Monica and Rachel's, Ben is playing in his crib while Chandler and Ross are leaning against the rim and are completely asleep.] Susan: Cantaloupe juice. 1. crib：儿童床。 rim：边缘 2. 大家让Ross尝奶水，但Ross不肯，Susan鼓励说味道不错，像哈密瓜汁(cantaloupe juice)。 Joey: (sitting on the other side of the counter from Chandler) Gimme a box a juice. I say you stand your ground. I say you show him that you are the baddest hombre west of the lingerie. Chandler: All right. Monica因为和Julie一起逛街而引起Rachel的不高兴。于是Mon安慰Rach，她和Julie成为朋友并不会影响她和Rach的感情。It doesn't make me any less friends with you.这句话很简洁，值得背下来。 Hombre Man: I'm sorry. I am such a doofus. Hombre Man不小心把香水spray到了顾客的眼中，于是他急忙道歉。doofus：愚蠢的人。 Julie: (to Rachel)Yes. Oh my god, are you kidding? Ross is so crazy about you, and I really wanted you to like me, and, it's probably me being totally paranoid, but I kinda got the feeling that maybe you don't. paranoid：胡思乱想。 Rachel: Bye. (After Julie exits.) What a manipulative bitch. manipulative：操纵的;操作的。Rachel和Julie聊天，也被Julie所感染，说出了要和她一起看电影之类的话。等Julie走后她意识到其实还是很讨厌Julie的，所以说Julie是一个很会操作人的bitch。 Scene: Monica and Rachel's, another showdown(摊牌) is occuring, only this time its between Ross, a plate of cookies, and the breast milk. They've been eyeing each other for a while now, and Chandler and Joey are getting bored. He checks his Ross and in frustration, shoves(推) his watch in front of Ross's eyes as if saying, "Hurry it up already!" Finally, Ross scratches(搔) his head, does that again, itches(发痒) his nose, scratches his head, grabs the bottle, takes a big swig, and piles several cookies into his mouth. 这段场景的描述很逼真，尤其是对Ross要喝下breast milk最后一句描写，若配合片子更容易理解。 ------------------------------End--------------------------------- 2006-10-4

【Plot】Carol breastfeeds(母乳喂养) Ben, causing Joey and Chandler discomfort. However, even stronger reactions occur when Ross is taking care of Ben and Phoebe checks the temperature of the bottled breast milk by tasting it. Julie invites Monica to go shopping; Rachel finds out and feels betrayed(背叛). Joey's status(身份、地位) as the Bijan Cologne Man(毕杨古龙香水推销者，Bijan，一位名牌服装设计师) is threatened when his department store hires someone to be the Hombre(一款香水名称) Man. Rachel tries to be nicer to Julie, but is less than sincere.
【Scene】[Monica and Rachel's, Carol and Susan are showing off Ben to the gang.] Monica: (entering from her bedroom carrying a present) Ok, these were unbelievably expensive, and I know he's gonna grow out of them in like, 20 minutes, but I couldn't resist. (There a little pair of Nike shoes.) Chandler: You know, it's... (sees the feeding taking place next to him) something funny about sneakers. …… We're just hanging out by the spoons. Ladle? 【解析】 1. grow out of them：them这里指代shoes，grow out of就是长大了，穿不下了 2. sneaker：橡皮底帆布鞋 3. hang out：出去，出来。约会也可以用hang out。 4. ladle：a deep-bowled long-handled spoon used especially for dipping up and conveying liquids。Ladle是一种勺子，长长的有点弯的勺柄，圆圆的有点深的勺子部分，有点像舀冰淇淋的那种，这种勺子一般用来舀汤等液状物。 【Scene】[Central Perk, the gang is all there.] Julie: Rachel, do you have any muffins left? So, anyone want to come with me and take advantage of it? Phoebe: I can't, I have to take my grandmother to the vet. Chandler: (Sees Ross) Hey, sweetums. Chandler: Come on, you're going to Bloomingdale's with Julie? That's like cheating on Rachel in her house of worship. 【解析】 1. muffin：松饼;小松糕;脆皮松饼 2. under one’s breath：in a muted(不发声的) voice or whisper. 小声说 3. Bloomingdale's：一家百货商店的名字，在美国很有名，像Macy’s。 4. abuse：use excessively or improperly，大量地用。 4. vet：兽医。Julie邀请大家一起购物，但是出于对Rachel的考虑，很多人都拒绝了，Phoebe也用“带祖母去看兽医”这种借口敷衍。 5. sweetums：相当于sweetie 6. Joe对Hombre Man说那是他的领地，但大家都愿意尝试Hombre Man的香水而对Joe置之不理，所以Hombre Man说了这句话。这句和What you were saying的意思一样，但语气不一样。You were saying是带有轻蔑口吻的。 Monica is yanking on her bra strap。 Yank，使劲拉。 Bra strap，胸罩的带子。 【Scene】[Monica and Rachel's, Carol is dropping Ben off for Ross to watch.] Carol: Ok, and this is Funny Clown. Funny Clown is only for after his naps, not before his naps or he won't sleep. 【解析】 1. drop off：这里指Carol把手中的baby给Ross 2. Funny Clown：美国JSNY公司出品的一种颜色靓丽的娃娃，又叫“给我穿衣服”小丑。Carol把Ben托付给Ross照看，强调只能在午睡后才能给他玩“谐趣小丑”，否则本就不 会睡觉。nap，打盹;睡午觉 |
