译Elizabeth Barrett Browning诗 Autumn, The 秋

Autumn, The 秋 --Elizabeth Barrett Browning
Go, sit upon the lofty hill,
And turn your eyes around,
Where waving woods and waters wild
Do hymn an autumn sound.
The summer sun is faint on them --
The summer flowers depart --
Sit still -- as all transform'd to stone,
Except your musing heart.
How there you sat in summer-time,
May yet be in your mind;
And how you heard the green woods sing
Beneath the freshening wind.
Though the same wind now blows around,
You would its blast recall;
For every breath that stirs the trees,
Doth cause a leaf to fall.
其景仍在脑中现;
Oh! like that wind, is all the mirth
That flesh and dust impart:
We cannot bear its visitings,
When change is on the heart.
Gay words and jests may make us smile,
When Sorrow is asleep;
But other things must make us smile,
When Sorrow bids us weep!
欢声笑语会使我们欢畅;
The dearest hands that clasp our hands, --
Their presence may be o'er;
The dearest voice that meets our ear,
That tone may come no more!
Youth fades; and then, the joys of youth,
Which once “refresh”'d our mind,
Shall come -- as, on those sighing woods,
The chilling autumn wind.
此景难重现;
青春渐逝远;
Hear not the wind -- view not the woods;
Look out o'er vale and hill-
In spring, the sky encircled them --
The sky is round them still.
Come autumn's scathe -- come winter's cold --
Come change -- and human fate!

Sonnets From the Portuguese:XXI.
--Elizabeth Barrett Browning (1806-1861)

Say over again, and yet once over again,
That thou dost love me. Though the word repeated
Should seem 'a cuckoo song,' as thou dost treat it,
Remember, never to the hill or plain,
Valley and wood, without her cuckoo-strain
Comes the fresh Spring in all her green completed.
Belovèd, I, amid the darkness greeted
By a doubtful spirit-voice, in that doubt's pain,
Cry, 'Speak once more---thou lovest!' Who can fear
Too many stars, though each in heaven shall roll,
Too many flowers, though each shall crown the year?
Say thou dost love me, love me, love me---toll
The silver iterance!---only minding, Dear,
To love me also in silence with thy soul.

译勃朗宁诗House Of Clouds,The云房

  House Of Clouds, The 云房 (1) -Elizabeth Barrett Browning

  I would build a cloudy House
  For my thoughts to live in;
  When for earth too fancy-loose
  And too low for Heaven!
  Hush! I talk my dream aloud---
  I build it bright to see,---
  I build it on the moonlit cloud,
  To which I looked with thee.
  loud-walls of the morning's grey,
  Faced with amber column,---
  Crowned with crimson cupola
  From a sunset solemn!
  May mists, for the casements, fetch,
  Pale and glimmering;
  With a sunbeam hid in each,
  And a smell of spring.
  淡淡涂满是微光;


Five months ago the stream did flow,
The lilies bloomed within the sedge,
And we were lingering to and fro,
Where none will track thee in this snow,
Along the stream, beside the hedge.
Ah, Sweet, be free to love and go!
For if I do not hear thy foot,
The frozen river is as mute,
The flowers have dried down to the root:
And why, since these be changed since May,
Shouldst thou change less than they.
