那天我一时兴起，决定帮我们班的克里斯介绍对象，于是我们就进行了一些标准的matchmaker的对话。你喜欢什么样的女生啊，年龄要求啊，长相要求啊，诸如此类。然后克里斯忽然问我，你喜欢什么样的呢？我一下子被问愣了，心想我这样的大龄已婚妇女还琢磨这个？但是脱口而出得却是，vulnerable. I love someone vulnerable, whether boys or girls. 克里斯于是点头，不错啊，两个人都vulnerable，还可以互相保护。

Carl应该属于我喜欢的类型，a serious vulnerable angry kid.
没有了Pete这个文青的束缚，Carl在音乐里的愤怒控制不住的往外冲。Bang bang you’re dead是《Waterloo to Anywhere》里面比较轻松的一首，其它的如grin & milk, you f*** love it, wondering都有用力过猛的嫌疑。
不过Pretty Dirty Things还是比Babyshambles耐听一些，毕竟Carl是Pete的吉他老师。

　　接着上一篇说吧。Babyshambles是The Libertines解散后Pete Doherty组建的乐队，到现在也出了两张专辑，Down in Albion（2005）和Shotter's Nation (2007) ，非常的车库风（garage)，虽然The Libertines也是garage rock revival了。
　　
　　随便听听Babyshambles和Pretty Dirty Things就好容易判断出Pete和Carl风格的不同。Pete是华丽随意有趣的那个，不过弹琴的技术……我还是不说了罢。Carl就比较严肃，没那么好玩。

　　话说八月十三日这天老D同学答应请我去看Tori Amos演唱会，真叫人翘首以盼啊。
　　
　　到五点半的时候，老D同学到我办公室楼下接我。彼时我还在和天涯奋战，不明白改图片格式的那栏跑到哪里去了：为啥整出来的图片比我写出来的文字方块还大？折腾了将近二十分钟，啥也没搞出来，只能就那样贴出来，慌里慌张的下楼等着接受批评。居然——没有批评~~老D同学说，时间还早，带你去中央公园看动物吧。
　　
　　中央公园的动物园就像一个谜，虽然在地图上标得很清楚，但我们去了N次也没有找到。这天晚上也不例外，我们进了中央公园先围着湖看鸭子，然后就转向了，走到一个林荫道去。两边都是长椅，有一个小黑哥儿刚摆起摊吹萨克斯。看我们走过，曲调一转，吹得居然是：“你问我爱你有多深，恋你有几分，我的情也真我的爱也深，月亮代表我的心……”本来我都走过去几米了，赶紧巴巴的跑回来递上几块钱，怎么就这么有眼力见儿呢！
　　
　　在公园里转了一小时，老D提议带我去他刚查到的一个馆子，说是去Radio City Hall的路上，一点工夫都不耽误的。可惜啊，我哪里知道有这么多安排，老胳膊老腿的，偏穿了一双新鞋，走了一脚泡不说，腿肚子都要抽筋了，照的照片呈龇牙咧嘴状。想着前面还有近十个block要走，坐在地上哭的心都有。想着打个车吧，车上都有人。寻个马车吧，马车在公园里转，也不往餐馆那里去。
　　
　　于是就和老太太似的蹭着走，等到餐馆的时候，还有二十多分钟演唱会就开始了。没法，只能叫汉堡和薯条的外卖。人家还要现做，拿到手的时候就只有十分钟了。我们边走边吃，弄得满手是油，然后又想起来忘了拿盐，老D本来就口重，这样非快餐店的汉堡是要自己加盐的。
　　
　　到了Radio City Hall，水扔了，汉堡可以带进去。听Tori Amos吃汉堡，也是有趣的组合。演出还算准时。暖场乐队是One eskimO，很cute。老D和我讨论了一下为啥英国乐队唱歌的时候没口音，一说话口音就暴露无遗的问题，没有得到任何实质性结论。然后Tori Amos就上场了。
　　其实要不是recky小朋友强烈推荐了一下，我也没有想好是不是要来看这场演唱会。我对Solo一向不太感冒，觉得唱得再好，她也是solo啊，想我这么喜欢躁的，solo怎么够劲呢。
　　老D同学呢，一首Tori的歌都没有听过，就是舍命陪君子来的。
　　
　　结果Tori一开口，我们就被震倒了，一个人的气场可以这样强。
　　小recky说的“她演的多好了，多漂亮啊，多值得人回味啊”原来是这么一个意思。
　　她一首接一首的唱，即使在band休息的时候，她也在唱，只在临结尾的时候跑下台一次，然后没两分钟，又跑回来了。中间讲了一个小段子，声音有点哑，大约还是太累了，唱的时候没有CD里面的声音甜美。
　　即使如此，还是非常非常好，非常令人满意了。
　　
　　如果不是我的那双鞋，让我的小腿肚子到今天早上还在抽筋，这个约会根本就是完美无缺了。

　　首先要问的一个问题，在我疯狂看电视的这个星期，到底发生了什么？是谁出了一个馊主意，给天涯出了这么恶心的标题——有见识的人都在此？我都已经吐了一整天了！要是它再不改这个狗名字，是不是应该考虑搬家？

　　知道The Libertines是从豆瓣上，豆瓣猜这栏反复告诉我，you might be interested in The Libertines. 但是看到这个album的封面，你的第一反应是什么？sick, right？于是我就一直没有点开过，但是豆瓣这个系统做的非常……持之以恒，终于在被推荐了N次以后，我被说服了，决定试一试。然后，发现——有的时候还是要相信推荐。
　　　　
　　怎么形容呢？华丽，年轻，梦幻以及不计后果的赤裸裸的high。
　　正是我小时候非常喜欢的款，很长时间没有听到了，可能也是美国这个地方吧，比较农村，这个调调也就比较少。
　　奇怪啊，像我这样躁的人，居然是个英摇控。
　　　　
　　然后，我就不可避免的google了一下，发现乐队早在2004年就解散了。解散的原因是乐队主要成员之一Pete Doherty实在是吸毒成瘾（其实听歌也能听得出来，这个调调大概不在high的状态也做不出来），在录制或者演出的时候频繁缺席，以至于另一成员Carl Barât不得不用tough-love approach（这个词怎么翻译？），让Pete在戒毒之前不能参加巡演——结果呢，Pete当然没有戒成毒，两个人的关系也越来越坏，乐队解散了事。Carl又组建了新的乐队Dirty Pretty Things，而Pete组建了Babyshambles。
　　　　
　　Can't Stand Me Now写于2004年乐队解散前，基本上就是描述彼时Pete和Carl的关系。
　　“Have we enough to keep it together? Or do we just keep on pretending. And hope our luck is never ending.”
　　　　
　　再返回来看The Libertines的封皮，非常非常的make sense。抬着头的是Carl，旁边那个看似昏迷不醒的是Pete。They were good together, though their relationship was really a mess.
　　　　
　　后来Dirty Pretty Things和Babyshambles都出了专辑，我也翻来听，全不及The Libertines时期华丽有趣。

　　最近几天看电视看疯了。
　　星期五一篇paper的deadline，紧赶慢赶半夜十二点交出去。然后觉得应该好好犒劳自己一下，翻出想看很久的Brothers and Sisters开始看。星期六老D请我去看哈利波特，然后买东西，吃饭，洗衣服，连地上的废纸都没有捡干净就又接着开始看，简直是愈罢不能。星期天某人说要给我打电话约着见面吃饭，结果没打，于是我就接着看，一直看到星期一早七点我的电脑不抗重负罢工了才爬到床上睡觉。起来又打开电脑看。
　　整整三季啊，一共23+16+23集，连饭都没怎么吃，终于在星期二看完了。
　　再不看完就要被dump了，老D同学已经出现崩溃的症状。
　　
　　从小到大也没有为哪本书哪个电视走火入魔到这个地步的。虽然去年也看得不少，但也不至于熬夜看。
　　我怀疑我的脑子已经被永久损伤了，只要让我不写paper随便给个东西都当作宝。
　　
　　不过还是推荐一下吧，大家庭的故事，兄弟姐妹五个人，全都住在洛杉矶，有一个family business，再加上每个人自己的一摊琐事：大姐作为成功的事业女面临婚姻危机；二姐电视节目主持人趁着采访的机会嫁给了参议员；老三管理家里的business有一个漂亮的老婆可惜他自己不育；老四是个律师还是个open gay；小儿子先去了阿富汗打仗又去了伊拉克负伤回来找不到生活的重心，就这样热热闹闹的演了三季。还别说，到了第三季，质量也没有像绝望主妇，迷失或者越狱那样严重滑坡。虽然有的剧情也编的太生硬了一点，但原谅我又困又饿，觉得都还可以忍受。
　　
　　最重要的是剧情很sweet。虽然故事编的繁复，基本上就这么一个中心思想：不管家里谁出了一点事，所有的成员都会赶来，并不见得能帮忙，但总是一起陪着渡过难关——这个意思就够sweet了吧。
　　当然也是不现实的sweet。譬如说这么频繁的家庭聚会，居然都保持着近乎百分之百的出席率……连在竞选总统的二女儿老公都能坐直升飞机赶回家吃饭，amazing啊！
　　还是很爱。我实在是个big family fan。可能也和家庭环境有关。奶奶家六个孩子，姥姥家四个，而且基本上都在北京。从小到大，我所有的周末几乎都在串亲戚中度过了——也难怪功课不好，没有时间读书么，打牌还行，陪老太太聊天也还行。
　　到美国这么多年，虽然也惯了两个人的生活，但看到这样的大家庭的生活，还是觉得不可抗拒。
　　
　　片子里面还有很多讨论很有意思，一家的liberal or democrat居然培养出像二女儿这样的忠实的共和党，最后还拉着弟弟Kevin，a democrat gay，去给自己共和党老公做communication director。从小儿子的经历讨论美国面对的两场战争。还有gay marriage。据wikipedia，这是第八个展现了同性恋婚礼的美国电视剧，但是另外七个都是小配角结婚，只有这个是主要角色结婚。而且Kevin这个同性恋比家里其他的人戏份一点也不少，也是非常罕见的。Kevin & Scotty make a really cute couple，他们两个的爱情比其他人加起来都要sweet几百倍，写剧本的人真下功夫啊。我必须去看Brüno降降温，否则就要变成同人女了……]]> 2009-8-13 20:32:00(2) 明星倾城 2009-8-2星期日(Sunday)晴 http://blog.tianya.cn/blogger/post_show.asp?BlogID=126290&PostID=18337230&idWriter=0&Key=0 www.themoth.org

The Moth是作家George Dawes Green 1997年创立的一个非营利协会，主要宗旨么，就是找人来讲故事——要求是真实故事，或者至少是亲自听过别人讲过的故事。故事都不长，十到十五分钟吧，来讲故事的人形形色色——有演员，有科学家，有作家，有一般老百姓——不管是谁，故事都特逗，和咱们中国的单口相声似的。


　　不知道为什么，EBTG的歌还真不好找，Youtube上只有一首Single的Mix版本，我还不喜欢。
　　
　　没有什么可写的，每天不过是打开电脑，看新闻，看reader里面的blog，算题，m同学说的家居旅行必备，mathematica和matlab，每天都在用，再加一个Scientific Word和Latex，来回倒着用。Coauther让我跟他一起用R，好像是很好用。我用Matlab写老半天，他用R短短几行。不过一直懒，不愿学。

　　听Single的时候，我就想，像我这样Girly的人，每天竟捉摸Do you want me back这样无聊的问题，还是不如在家呆着好。所谓的作研究，不过是kill trees。看着打印的那堆paper，真是浪费纸。
　　
　　六个星期的作文课快上完了，还有点小失落。虽然写作业真的很花时间，但是写得好开心，好像初中时候的周记作业，吭哧吭哧涂半天，就等着老师用红笔批两句，还多是表扬的话——怕打击同学幼小的心灵阿。

　　六月底的时候选了一门作文课，也算是给自己的生日礼物。
　　惦记着上写作课很久了。好像从开始学英语起，我的作文就写的和巴巴似的，这么多年来一直没有进步。到美国以后，语法又有了长足的退步，写的东西就更不能看了。再不补课，简直连thesis都凑不出来。
　　　　
　　就是那种给外国人上的写作阅读课，稍微高级点，不仅仅讲怎么写topic sentences，怎么用transition words和标点符号的用法。倒是有点像小时候的语文课，读个课文，总结一下中心思想，看看人家开头怎么 grab the reader’s attention，结尾是总结，还是升华，诸如此类。
　　　　
　　也可能是老师的缘故，课上得还蛮有趣。Vic是我见过为数不多的很knowledgeable的美国人，什么都知道一些，讲起故事来一套一套。当然也可能是我少见多怪。我的圈子本来就小，身边的美国人根本就是minority, 能吹牛的文科生更是屈指可数。
　　　　
　　然后有一天下课，Vic给我们发handout，说自己在一个酒吧有一个小演出，欢迎大家去捧场。他早说自己年轻的时候有个band，我也并不稀奇——在美国有band的人很多啊。可是真跑到他网站上去看，还是吃了一惊，做的真是相当专业。可惜他现在已经改solo了，我还是觉得band更有趣。

　　想了很久今天写哪首歌，最后还是挑了这首Smile，既然Brooke Shields说是M.J.的最爱。
　　　　
　　关于M.J.,其实还有很多想说的，却说不出来了。再说就成了祥林嫂，就算家里的娃被狼叼走了也断不敢这么唠叨。不过真是奇怪，这几天除了老D对我略有赞同，我（physically)身边的人就居然没有一个对这件事情表示关心的。难道地球上MJ所有的扇子都已经跑到了洛杉矶，只有我这个伪扇子还留在纽约城？
　　　　
　　说起来也是傻气。一个从来不认识的人，他的去世居然让我难过了一个星期，连活也不干了，每天都是在youtube搜来搜去，昨天的时候，在办公室看MJ的节目，忽然觉得异常委屈，竟然流下眼泪来——歹亏身边没有人。
　　　　
　　可是，还能有人能这样么？

　　从国内回来以后又开始转回来听Tori Amos的专辑，原来爱的Yeah Yeah Yeahs觉得太躁——真是奇怪，走之前并不觉得躁的——亦可能是出去转了一圈终于把心里的浮躁宣泄出一些。
　　　　
　　Amos的歌实在是多，我挑来挑去也捡不出一首favorite。罢了，还是Strange Little Girls吧。虽然是翻唱，却翻唱的比原唱还要有味道，也是我第一张完整听过的Amos专辑——2001的作品啊，可见我接触她又多么晚。还是Time吧，但凡叫做这个名字的歌总能轻而易举的吸引我。

　　今天是美国国庆节，邻居们都在BBQ。老D和我巴巴地跑到Hudison River去看烟花。其实来了美国这么多年，从来没有在节日的时候特地看过烟花，但是今年，有些不一样吧。
　　去的路上，我问老D，咱们去年独立日作什么了？两个人居然都想不出来，三天的长周末，总应该做过点什么吧……回来查blog，那天也没有记。这日子，就从记忆里抹去了。
　　
　　到的晚了，已经挤不到河边，只能遥遥的看着。对面正好有一个发花点，倒也清楚，不过看不到漫河的全景，便少了许多气氛。美国人没见过世面，随便一朵焰火，他们就哇哇哇的，岂不知道我们中国人这都见得多了。想起来小时候我并不爱烟花，每次过节的时候还没有到放花就睡了，第二天听人津津乐道昨晚怎么好，也不觉得遗憾。倒是大了，觉得烟花是个稀罕物，每次都巴巴地捧场。
　　
　　或者是终于意识到，像这种极盛，次数总是有限吧。
　　
　　BTW：8月13日Tori Amos要转到咱这疙瘩来了，不过还没有想好去不去。真正能让我激动地提前好几个月买票的也就那么几个人吧，可惜还走了一个。

Waiting for Godot，回国之前便看了的，也是第一次和同学看show。卡着点去买的学生票，居然坐到了有史以来我坐过的最好座位，人品啊！戈多算是熟悉的剧目了，读过剧本，看过国内任鸣的版本，所以话语虽然密集，听得也并不吃力。效果么……不好讲。去之前听说很funny，实际也很funny。但也许是演员表现的太圆熟，反而生出疏离感——笑虽然笑了，但转过头去，又觉得什么都没听到，亦什么也未看到。或是我自己的问题？






昨天一时兴起决定去中央公园排第十二夜的票，结果哪想到是它的opening night。虽然说晚上六点半才发票，早上七点就开始有人排队，等我到时，前面已经有二百号人了。不过既然来了，就等吧，谁知到了六点半，staff又改口，说要等到最后才发票，也就是说，要到八点……

这时，排在我后面的那个女生忽然说，“Michael Jackson is dead”。
“什么？”我问。
“Michael Jackson is dead。”她又重复了一遍。
听起来那么不真实的，就好像现在的我，站在公园里面排在二百人外面等着看一场free show一样不真实。
“什么时候的事？”
“半个小时以前”，再后面的一个男生，刚才一直在看IPhone的，说，“心脏病。”他又耸耸肩，“也难怪，这么多plastic surgery，他应该也没什么时间锻炼。”
我也笑了，却勉强，他应该和我不是一代人吧。记得小学的时候，我们班那些男生一边刷牙一边学太空步，他们也会这么说么？

今年三月的时候，我在电梯口的电视上看到Michael Jackson宣布复出，要在London举行演唱会，不禁高兴的打电话给老D，说想不到咱们还能这么幸运，不仅看到了麦姐姐的演唱会，没准还能赶上Jackson的——虽然在伦敦，但是他说可能会扩展到世界巡回，再讲了，伦敦的机票也不贵……
全都是如意算盘啊。

不过话说回来，他活着的时候总是倒霉，这也算个好的谢幕吧。

表姐的事情你知道么？
老D有点错愕，问，难道最近有什么新情况？
大表哥接着说，表姐生病你知道吧？
知道啊。
她加州时间今天早上去世了。

老D握着电话，我们两个都有些吃惊。在美国的时候我们天天跟加州打电话，也知道情况不好。
但是知道情况不好和真正去世可是相差千里。
因为正要出门，也没有时间细想，只是把计划中从峨嵋到天津的机票改成到北京的机票。预计二姑妈很快就会从加州回来，这样好歹能在回美国之前和从她见上一面。

在西藏的时候，一直忙着头疼。偶尔和老D说起表姐，也并不觉得她已经去世。
因为她住加州，我们也不是天天见。虽然最近两年总是一起出去玩，但忙起来，几年不见也属正常。
现在就算我们都在忙的时候吧。

记得我一月份从加州回来，第二天给她电话，问她有没有去医院，她说约的下午见医生。然后她就笑我做事拖沓，说你就不能麻利点么。我说并不是不麻利啊，只是因为不想做才拖沓。
晚上打电话说检查结果要星期五才出来。
星期五我们专业有一个会，开会间隙又打电话过去。因为是上午，并没有预计结果会出来，谁想到表姐马上接了电话。她的声音听起来总是兴高采烈的，说，哎呀，是癌症，再过半个小时就要进手术室了呢。因为现在得癌症的很多，虽然有点受罪，但还是好了的人多，于是我们就故作轻松的聊了聊，包括刀口长什么样可以穿比基尼之类。
后来做了手术，情况一直不是很好，就没有再打。
其中中间有一个星期医院说她情况好很多，于是转到康复中心。她和小姑打电话，我在旁边听着，没有插话。怕她说话太多了累到。
回头想想，当时为什么我不再和她多说两句呢？那天大家那么高兴的。

我们在加州带着老D妈妈和二姑玩的时候还挺好。3000多公里，表姐开了有一半，就是最后一天她觉得不舒服，才是老D开的。
还有去年夏天，也就是这个时候，她带着两个姑娘在我们纽约家里，正赶上我们搬家，老D上班，我在一楼佯装洗衣服，其实是看着楼上一堆垃圾脑袋疼，洗完衣服上来，发现她都帮我把家具放好了。有几个破玩意儿，她嫌我们累赘，要帮我们扔了，我扣门，又偷偷捡回来。
转天去Cape Code的时候，她和老D开玩笑，你知道你三岁的时候来我们家说过什么？你坐在我旁边，和人似的，说，表姐啊，你咋长得这么老气横秋呢？我们于是大笑，老D三岁的时候，表姐也就十四岁吧。我问，那你说什么了？表姐说，我当时啥都没说啊，可这都二十多年了。你现在要是那个椅子扔了，我倒可以把它忘一忘。一个星期后我们从波士顿回来，麻利地就把那几个破烂扔了。
这纽约加波士顿，Cape Code游，前前后后也有两个星期吧。就是那个时候，她教我包馄饨和银鱼炒苦瓜，现在还老做的。
大前年感恩节，表姐表姐夫第一次带着孩子来纽约。老D非要招呼到我们家吃饭，哪承想，感恩节饭馆全不开门，偏我们家那周也没买菜。结果大人孩子六个人只好蹲在家里吃通心粉，我做sauce的时候放了很多蘑菇进去，两个娃还不吃蘑菇。招待的要多失败有多失败。好在想，这些事情，以后还有机会。

二姑妈带回来的表姐照片，穿的还是我们一起玩的时候穿的衣服，两手交叉着伸在前面，看起来还是兴高采烈。我拿起来左端详右端详，她怎么就一点不显老呢，小时候什么样子现在还什么样，甚至更好看。
后来我们看video, 在金门大桥的海葬，几个孩子在船上抢Cookie吃，后来又放蝴蝶，无忧无虑
的样子。
再后来在北京开告别会，我们又回到纽约了。前前后后的，都没赶上。不过这样，愈发觉得大家只是忙，没有机会聚在一起罢了。

有时候收拾东西，想起这件是她帮我放的，那件是她送给我的，也会忍不住掉眼泪。但转念想，
逝于华年，也未尝不好。

PS：犹犹豫豫要不要写，拖了这么久，还是放上来吧。也算一件事情告一段落。新生活重新开始。

在家里闷了近一个星期，无非是收拾换季衣服，整理自去年搬家来就未整理的closet，做两个自己喜欢的菜，包点馄饨冻在冰箱里当早饭吃。几件事情，做做歇歇，中间又找了几部想看许久又一直没有得空的电影看看。休假这件事，果然是几个星期出门乱晃，再留几日在家休养生息，才算惬意。

却什么都不想写，年初的加州游一字未动，这次的西藏行又全权交给老D。
　　
有一些不满意，可这不满意在哪里又说不出。
稀薄，是稀薄吧?
修课，写论文，参加seminar，看show，出门旅游，和朋友聚会，看似稠密的生活，为什么会稀薄呢？
　　
昨天在blog上翻6月24日记，发现上次也是唯一的一次写，已然是2006。后来几年，虽然也有这样或那样得感想，却只是因为懒，未曾记。而今年，连感慨也无。
可是当年的那些话，真让自己吃惊，原来曾经这样想。为什么短短几年，竟忘得干干净净？这次回国看到菁菁，我光呱拉呱拉说让她找男朋友的事情，也忘记了，我们说过这样的话。
时间真是奇怪的东西。

既然无话可说，就不妨说快乐吧。
自己对自己说的话，应该认真履行。

其实也没啥可写的，不过歌都选好很久了，再不写就忘了。

从星期五直到今天晚上，只读了一篇paper。就那么三十几页纸，都快揉烂了，也没整明白到底是个啥意思——可见这一年真是啥也没学会。因为没有考试，不明白的东西就这么一直得过且过的不明白下去；大家做的东西也不同，巴巴的去找人家说自己的东西，怕又是极trivial的，也拉不下脸。

可今天这个不行，过两天就要present了，连个边儿都摸不到，下雨，学校里面也没个人。最后实在没辄，开始四处打电话给同学，说你们不愿意来就让我去你们家问问题吧。自己也知道是个很没边的事儿，不过是乱投医罢了。于是跑到莱奥家，把东西扔给他，和他媳妇喝茶聊天，可是莱奥也看不懂。我们都没有学过啊，他也不做这个，硬生生的塞过来，谁又能知道讲什么呢？不过还是有帮助，我给他解释的过程中，自己好像还是多明白一点，虽然只是一点，也总比自己在蒙头看得好些。我们老师总是说多talk，多talk，Varian说，哪怕是和你的猫阿狗阿的多talk，都是有好处的。不过说话是要make efforts的，我就总懒下去。

老D说哎呀，你写Dave Matthews Band，我最想看的乐队阿。我知道老D有一个很想看现场的乐队，但是总忘记是什么，现在才算记住。我最想看的现场是谁呢？前三甲：Rage again the machine, Radiohead 和Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

　　最近又开始感觉比较blue，可能是因为事情太多，扑面而来，免不得手忙脚乱。今天上午整完一个presentation，其实准备了很久，slides自己也觉得写得还好（连老D都说还好），但是一开始就被一个概念的提问打乱了，虽然最后证明我是对的，但是耽误了很多时间，后面的results囫囵吞枣就带过去了，非常失败。
　　
　　中午赶去upper east买东西，出了车站便是中央公园，果然春天到了，草绿了，花开了，湖水也媚了，满眼满眼乌秧的人，对比起来，downtown果然是人烟稀少的地方啊。可惜也没来得及细看，直奔商店，然后就又赶回去上课了。
　　
　　两年或者三年前在R校的时候，忘记是准备考试还是在写论文，紧紧张张的。当时总是罗姆一起在他们的休息室看书，他说，TT，别担心，一切都会好的。然后他问，你知道那首歌么，Don't worry about a thing, 'Cause every little thing gonna be all right。我很土鳖，当然不知道。
　　
　　今天坐在阳光里，想起这首歌，于是在youtube上搜。真是费劲阿，我既不知道是谁唱的，也不知道歌名，就凭Don't worry, everythings gonna be all right 搜出二三十首歌来，只得挨个听。直听到十几首，才找到当年罗姆哼过的这两句。 因为是朋友唱过，自然比其他的Alright听起来都贴心。

今天诸事不顺，基本想干的事情一样也没有干成，包括
两个appointment，白说了半天话，除了把我周末的idea都否定了，没有任何建设性的意见；
要钱两次，被否；
给系里的两个秘书各写信问点事情，不回；
去图书馆要dataset，只给了一丁点budget，还说好每次去的时候必须有人看着我干；
和上周末洗牙的那个诊所前台打电话，因为是朋友，告诉我实情，几乎每个去的人都会被按住补上三颗牙，半年照一次片子，NND，这都什么黑店啊~~连老D同学这样从来不抱怨的都觉得看不下去了——找一个合适的大夫真是难啊。记得原来的地方牙医，眼科医生都挺好的。不过现在回去还要开车一个多小时，过路费过桥费也不少花。

