Position Title :
IT Application Developer
Reports To :IT Application Team Lead
Group Global IT
Department :AS & D Application Development
POSITION SUMMARY
Purpose
To carry out assigned application development tasks under the supervision of the application development lead in accordance with Air Products development processes.
Nature and Scope
The application developer based in Shanghai is responsible for successfully completing assigned development activities and or tasks. Working directly under the supervision of an application development lead the holder will follow standard Air Products practices and processes, the holder will be expected to contribute effectively to the team environment, and will be expected to carry out assigned tasks on time and to the required quality. The development areas will include but are not limited to, interfaces, reports, new business requirements, data conversion.
DIMENSIONS
Scope – Global
Size of team – up to 7
Programs Supported – All New Solutions Projects
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1.Application development, documentation and testing
2.Adherence to Standard Work Process
3.Successful Project/Task Execution
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Travel – This position may require limited travel
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1.College Degree required; Bachelors Degree in Information Technology field, related technical discipline preferred.
2.3 -4 years experience working in information technology application development
3.Prior management or supervisory experience preferred, multicultural experience a plus
4.Demonstrated track record of successful task and/or project delivery
5.Extensive knowledge of SAP/ABAP development technology
6.Knowledge of SAP/ERP ECC 5.0 functional areas FI,MM,PP,SD
7.Excellent communications skills required
